Ate mid day, busier than I expected at 3pm. I ordered the Chirashi Bowl because I like a chef's choice surprise. Mine came with a raw scallop, a sweet shrimp, salmon, masago & ikura, tuna, white tuna (I think), seasoned rice, seaweed salad, cucumber, carrot, avacado, scallion, ginger, and wasabi. The food was fresh and pretty. I also had a hot green tea. The servers were friendly, attentive, and quick. The ambiance was casual and accommodating toward families with small kids, couples, and people less familiar with their menu. The price was great for the entree I ordered. With a tea it was about $25 after tax. I am giving five stars because of the shrimp head, yes please.

I ordered the shrimp gyoza bento box. I'm honestly really impressed. I was on lunch break and needed fast service and that's exactly what they did. I waited about 15 minutes and got my food it was tasty, not the best but heated well, sauced up well. Really great food for the area. I think it is a little overpriced but I cannot complain. Ambiance was nice. I sat by the booth they had outdoor seating as well and plenty of parking Total 4.5

This was the best Japanese Auburn/Opelika has to offer. I've visited many spots in the area and this one rises above them all. My group order scallop and shrimp hibachis, clear soup, and sushi. We shared everything and agreed on the impeccable quality. They were nice on the phone when ordering and when I arrived a little early to pick up the order. I loved how they allowed us to customize our meals. They do not do the show of cooking in front of you but that cuts down on time you have to wait to get your food. The inside was clean and organized.

I would go here once a week if we lived closer! On my first visit we had the hibachi cooked in front of us, and the food and the service were both very good. On my second visit I had had one of the Lunchbox Specials, and it was amazing, and the service was impeccable. I think it may only be served weekdays during lunch hours, but I highly recommend this place and plan to visit again soon. They were also reasonably priced.

I ordered a poke bowl for pick up and it was great. The presentation was excellent and I did not have to wait long for my bowl even though they were very busy at the time that I went. The established is very clean and it's not too loud but not too quiet either. It's excellent for a date or to simply grab lunch with friends or even if you rather go and sit at the bar by yourself.

You can't go wrong here! I ate every bite of my food and they have plenty of food for everyone who is or isn't a sushi eater. They also have quick service and food came out hot. It's located in a shopping center so you can't miss it!

I've been to Takoyaki more than a handful of times now- both dine in and take out. The restaurant itself is in a very convenient location in Tiger Town and we're able to sit down and grab something to eat when we need a break from shopping. There's plenty of parking as well so that's never an issue! When you walk in, the restaurant is very open and clean. Service has always been better during the day time vs when I went at night. For example, tonight although it was slow while my daughter and I were dining in, we were given our food first without silverware. After being given our food, we were not checked up on and drinks were not filled. I had to wave the waiter down for our check let alone getting a refill. During the day, service is definitely much better even when it's busy but still a hit or miss. Food is definitely good especially when you're dining in! My go to meal here is the Shrimp Yaki Udon and their TNT roll. Their hibachi is also pretty good! I've had their steak and chicken hibachi to go and it was not the most tender but it was probably because I ordered it to go. It's definitely worth checking out!

Sushi, Poke, yummy. This place was tucked away so glad we found. Ordered lunch 1 poke bowl with Ahi and Eel Caterpillar roll and a red dragon roll. Fresh, delicious and beautiful presentation. Poke in pics is after we split between us. Definitely recommend this place.
